We got on a small boat and moved slowly through floating ice as we approached the glacier.
the blue ice of the glacier was amazing as we moved as close as possible.
Hubbard glacier was much larger than expected and much larger than the pictures show.
one of the crew of our small boat scooped up a piece of floating ice, washed it off and then took the piece Karla is holding and broke it up and used it in drinks they were making on the small ship
And finally, a beautiful sunset over the ocean with snow capped mountains in the background
